2017 in Review

           The Training Department witnessed  unprecedented  performance in two  key areas of activity. The number of participants trained surpassed the targets by
           over a hundred percent and the number of courses delivered almost doubled the target. Utility participation remained within the normal range.


































           Smart Grid Symposium

           The  Smart  Grid  Symposium  held  in  Tri nidad,
           0ctober 23-26 was a success wh en participation,
           sponsorship and content were evaluated.  Ali  of
           these factors  were  improved  by  100% over last
           year's   ICT/OT  Seminar   Utility  presence
           accounted  for 26% of  the  total  of 86 attendees.
           The  symposium  received  support  trom  aver
           twenty  companies  comprising  members  and
           non-members, academia, business development
           and   research.   Post-conference   training
           addressed  issues and  challenges in grid  safety
           and  battery storage.
