ABOUT THIS EVENT

We are in the midst of a shift in the way that we operate businesses, influenced by COVID-19 and the Social Distancing measures being put in place as the new normal. This places a strain on organisational knowledge, since knowledge loss caused by employee exits can lead to significant downtime if proper succession planning is not in place, especially when Remote Working and Virtual Teams are necessary. The aim of the presentation would be to discuss how Succession Planning initiatives can be enhanced by implementing Knowledge Management techniques alongside appropriate Technology tools to capture the Tacit Knowledge of the workforce. Once harnessed appropriately such strategies can develop a talent pipeline of skilled employees thus lending towards sustaining a competitive organization during uncertain times such as this.
