The Caribbean Electric Utility Services Corporation (CARILEC) announced today the launch of its new website, www.carilec.org . Key features of the new website include a more modern and engaging user friendly experience with a Live Chat feature, an interactive live news update, an interactive photo-gallery, a live event update, a historical timeline of CARILEC’s milestone achievements and a soon to be launched e-commerce platform which will allow persons to safely make payments online. The CARILEC Renewable Energy Community (CAREC), an online learning community for energy professionals in the Caribbean, Latin America, and the rest of the world, which allows members to connect and collaborate through sharing experiences and best-practices in low-carbon technology implementation, will remain accessible to users via the website.
Redesigned with the user experience in mind the new website places a special emphasis on functionality, is intuitive and has been designed using the latest technology so that the site is compatible with today’s browsers and mobile devices.
CARILEC Members who sign-up for user accounts will continue to have access to Annual Reports; Industry Journals; Newsletters; Request for Proposals and Tenders; Technical Studies; Position Papers; Annual Reports; Membership Listing and other data. Whilst non-members will have access to public galleries on the new website and be able to subscribe to receive Industry Newsletters and event updates.
