Cancellation Notice
It is with considerable regret that we announce the cancellation of this year's Supply Chain Management Conference.
The level of apparent interest in registering for the conference was significantly below expectations; this we believe can be directly attributed to the unfortunate events of 11 September and afterwards. It became clear that to proceed with the conference under these circumstances would have made little sense.
The terrorist attacks have clearly diverted people's focus, and we understand that, as many of you may have been affected in one way or another. We understand that the resulting uncertainty may have made people reluctant to commit to travel away from home base so soon.

Suggestions have been made that it may be useful to combine the Supply Chain Management and Engineers Conference in 2002 as they possess synergies which would maximize the attendance benefits for all, and we are exploring this possibility.
Please use our feedback loop to communicate your views about the combined conference to us, as we are now in the planning stages for all our 2002 conferences.
